Heading out again, out into the abysmal space

So much time was spent, alone and locked away

By choice indeed it was, afraid of what I might say

To those I sought to keep, by now had shade astray

Expectations low, I wandered through the days

Searching there at first, before looking the other way

What I had hoped to find, can make it’s way back to me

As soon as you stepped in, the sky filled with concrete gold

Soaring through my eyes, I see a brand new world

Relaxed I must remain, the. odds are stacked against

After all, I sink back into myself, falling into emptiness that I call home

I’ll never sleep again
